first off pull the fuel pump fuse and start the car when it dies keep trying to start it till it wont attempt to run this relieves fuel pressure in the system then change the filter your tank does not need to be empty or full it dont matter dont forget when u r done to reinstall the fuse2000 Buick Park Avenue 3.8 fuel filter change?
open the gas cap to relieve pressure on the fuel system. jack the vehicle up with stand support on the front of the engine. u will see the fuel filter under the vehicle, near the door on the right side. plastic clips are sqeezed and pulled out. remove clamp if exist. put filter on in the right direction. follow arrrow on filter.
