How do you change the fuel filter on an 81 chevy malibu?

I have no idea how to change the fuel filter in an 81 chevy malibu, I was told it's in the carborater and I found that... but what do I need to take apart to get to the filter? Where on the Carb would it be?How do you change the fuel filter on an 81 chevy malibu?
It is on the front of the carb. where the fuel line goes into the carb. You need a 5/8 wrench and a crescent.Take the fuel line loose and then back the big nut off. Your fuel filter should be in there.How do you change the fuel filter on an 81 chevy malibu?
