I have a 2000 Ford Escort 1800 Turbo Diesel, can anyone help on how to change the fuel filter on it.

The filter is located at the right hand side of the cylinder head(the top of the engine) remove the bolt from the top and pull it out(11mm spanner or socket).pull filter down holding bottom section and separate.renew rubber o,ring,s dig top o,ring out with small screwdriver.assemble filter to bottom section and push back onto top part .Refit bolt care full not to over tighten.pump black button until hard and then start engine.do not touch throttle until started.repeat last part till engine keeps running.wear rubber gloves as some diesel will be spilt during this job. good luckHow to change fuel filter on escort diesel?
Didnt know they made escorts diesel, but a fuel filter generally costs no more than $30 for the filter, and another $30 or so for labor.
