How do I deal with rusted fittings on a fuel filter?

I am attempting to change the fuel filter under my 88 c1500, but the fittings have rusted together so well that I can't make any progress. I tried spraying it with PB Blaster and that didn't work. I even sprayed it and let it sit overnight, yet there was nothing. Now one fitting (fuel tank side of filter) is just about stripped out, and still nothing is any looser than when I began. Any suggestions from anyone else who has had this problem? How do I deal with rusted fittings on a fuel filter?

Well it's probably too late now if it's almost stripped but a tubing wrench is usually the best way to get them loose. It looks like a box end wrench with a slot to fit over the tubing. It must be really bad if PB Blaster didn't work.Sounds like it's going to be a cut and splice job.How do I deal with rusted fittings on a fuel filter?
try using a pair of vise grips.
